Persuasion

A servant leader does not lead with an iron fist. A servant leader uses the power of persuasion rather than authority to lead toward a common goal. This ability to get others to buy in and follow without using their positional ability is a key ability of the servant leader. This persuasion could be of an entire group or one on one. The servant leader is looking out for all the others and not their self. This is why the servant leader involves the employees in the decision-making process.
